This is Tribal Beat
I am Silvia and this is Tribal Beat
“Tribal” and “beat”: two words that, when combined, are filled with nuances and for me are synonymous with energy and personality. Roots, tradition. Originality, authenticity. Sun, life.
Why “Tribal Beat”?
I have always admired the history and creative craftsmanship expressed by an engraved jade, a Middle Eastern pendant, a bone bead: these elements now become the focal point of my creations.

I love blending unusual elements to evoke an “elsewhere” that tells of journeys, experiences and stories of cultures that fascinate me; daring with materials and proportions, reworking them into an unusual jewel that I would wear myself.
And I love contrasts. Thus, to pearls—Western and classical—I juxtapose the naïve touch of African bronze; to the delicacy of semi-precious stones or fabrics, I combine basic natural elements such as bone and wood. Smooth and rough, glossy and matte, refined and raw: bringing them together to stimulate both sight and touch, creating an original and versatile jewel.
It is always possible to reinvent yourself, if you have enthusiasm. Even at 50
After my language studies, I graduated in Graphic Design in Milan. I then worked in the field of web design, mainly for major banking groups.
Happily a mother of two, I stepped away from work to devote myself to this experience, without abandoning my creativity and many passions; from jewellery to furniture restoration, lamp creation and interior design.
The pandemic marked a new turning point and, despite being in my fifties, I launched the Tribal Beat brand. In a saturated market, I chose a niche approach, dedicating my jewellery to confident women who seek something unique and beyond the ordinary.
THE WHITE TIGER
How the Tribal Beat brand was born
Nothing happens by chance. While reflecting on the launch of the brand, I came across this image. I actually chose it instinctively; later, I explored its symbolism and meaning more deeply.
Chinese astronomy is based on mythical figures known as the Five Celestial Animals. They symbolize the principles of energy in Taoist cosmology: each represents an element, a season, and a cardinal direction, as well as specific virtues and traits.
They include the Black Warrior of the North, the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Yellow Dragon of the Center.
西方白虎 - White Tiger of the West
The White Tiger embodies the West, autumn, harvest, evening, and the metal element.
Despite its powerful appearance, the tiger represents a feminine (yin) energy and embodies the opposite of the masculine Dragon of the East.
According to legend, the tiger acquires its white fur only at the age of 500, and only if a kind and just ruler sits on the throne and there is peace in the world.
The White Tiger is stubborn, unconventional, proud, and rather solitary. Its wild nature is difficult to control, so it is important that its opposite, the Azure Dragon, balances it: together they are unbeatable.
In China, it is said to ward off demons and is therefore considered a symbol of courage.
In Feng Shui, the symbol of the tiger is also used to promote intuition, vision, clairaudience, motherhood, and unconditional love.
